This capture card is great for what I use it for. Most of you will use it to record games or turn a DSLR into a webcam, and for those purposes the color change can be a challenge. I am using the card to transfer a PowerPoint presentation from another computer. The colors are a bit different as mentioned in other reviews but I had a simple fix in OBS. I can't speak for framerate and that's not what I use it for. I think if you know how to use color correction filters in OBS or have any other way to tweak colors, this might be a good option for you. It saved me a lot of money and I am very happy. There is a star deduction for the color deviation. I hope this helps someone.
