Very poor quality of the Chinese plastic that is crumbling. I bought one of these and after a few months the plastic on the front of the key cracked and fell apart. Sure, the design of this Honda key is poor, but my original Honda keys lasted about 8 years before cracking. These cheap Chinese fakes last about 30 days with normal use. They're cheap, but don't expect them to last more than a few months if you actually use the key and carry it around. The American 3M tape I used to hold this junk together is of a much higher quality. I'm shocked by people praising these things. You should not check for more than 30 days of normal circulation.
