Review on Dorman 741-950 Front Driver Side Power Window Motor and Regulator Assembly for Honda Models – Black by Tom Bennett

Replacement for my 2000 Honda CRV window regulator. A few years ago, on a very cold but damp day, I was trying to start my car and my windows were fogged up/iced up. I thought opening and closing the window a few times might help but it was too cold and they froze and the regulator motor made a terrible noise and never worked again. already a few years. I figured it was a shop repair and I didn't have the money or time. But I'm on a bit of a vacation, thought I might try making it myself. I ordered a part from Revain. It fit perfectly, came with some screws of my own so I only had to use some of the old ones. To my surprise, it only took about an hour and a half. I don't know how much I saved in store expenses, but I'm sure it was significant. The chains were pre-lubed (I added some lithium grease anyway, but I knew that was an extra step) and everything worked just like the original version. And now I know that on a frosty day you shouldn't try to roll down the window until the car has warmed up and thawed.
