So liability is a good thing. When you mount it on the dashboard or wherever you want, it sticks and doesn't come off, so that's the only plus besides the articulating arm. The main problem I have is that the magnetic force is absolute crap. My standard magnetic lock charger is three times stronger than this magnet. Any pothole or bump in the road, except for a small one, will knock your phone out of its mount. I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max with a magnetic snap case and the magnetic force is absolute bullshit with or without the case. The second problem is that the ability to charge is bullshit. If you are listening to music or anything else on your phone while charging, it will be difficult to charge the phone at all. If that's the case, you can get a few percentage points in an hour. The last issue I found after returning this product a couple of times thinking it was defective was that I thought it had more charging ability when I use Type-C to connect, even though it is a Connection of type A and type C acts type C. Unfortunately, nothing other than connecting type A and type C does not work. The next thing will only charge your phone as long as you use Type A to Type C. If you have another connector head that fits ball mounts I would definitely use adhesive mounts with other head mounts as the articulating arm system is great. Otherwise it's wasted money
