Update: Support contacted me and resent me a new unit which is now working properly. Overall happy as long as it works. I bought it to minimize the amount of cables sticking out of my 2019 16 inch laptop. Macbook Pro and although I was able to connect my charger and mouse to the hub, the HDMI and audio jack didn't work on it (HDMI worked for 3 days and then all of a sudden the signal went out, the sound never worked), so I still have to change the HDMI -Connect the cable from the monitor to the laptop and plug in headphones. This completely defeated the purpose of this purchase. I contacted the company a few weeks ago but they still haven't responded to me.
