But, the 778g, BT5.2, WiFi 6 model of the tablet without 5G is a little more respectable. They haven't been able to break 4G or 5G on this hardware yet, apparently. The Tab 7+ is still worth considering around 65-70k if you're looking for something that resembles normalcy. Although even that could be debated. There's just one reason I can think of to spend the money on this vessel, and that's so I can watch YouTube on a big screen. I still don't see a true alternative to Apple's ecosystem, especially if you have at least some kind of activity on the tablet, even in this very dead tablet market (this is the only reason I put 3 stars, and not 0 for this craft). There are certain wrinkles, but Xiaomi has so far impressed either with the capabilities or the pricing of the new MiPad5, if you don't want to move in the direction of an Apple product. A third option is to avoid any purchases at all and make do with just a phone and a standard laptop.
