When you open the box there is a page that says you need to connect some wires and read the instructions. Great, it does explain how to use the device but there are no installation instructions. I installed it on a Wrangler TJ, the dashboard detaches to fit and remove the radio. This meant the front of the new device had to be removed in order to thread it through the panel. During this maneuver, the touchscreen fell off and all the wires were ripped out. After several hours of delicate operations I managed to get it working again, I hope it stays that way. I ended up having to make a sled out of a single DIN adapter and add a rear bracket to the new unit so I could mount it with the original rear bracket on the back, the only thing holding the new system in place.
