Definitely recommend if you have a barn door!
Someone recommended this and I recommend it to anyone installing barn doors. It prevents the door from being pulled out, it keeps the door in line. It's especially good if you have kids playing with the door. We didn't have him and they kept pushing him and he hit the wall again. Totally worth a lot. Smooth gliding back and forth.
