best phone i have ever used this model for 4 years

this phone was a great phone. The battery life for each phone is several hours of continuous talk time (about 6-8 hours of continuous talk time per handset when the phone is new. But even after 4 years of heavy use, my battery still lasts at least 4 hours). -5 hours of continuous use without charging between calls). But if you're the kind of person who puts your phone on a stand between calls, the battery will last even longer. The phone and speakerphone have excellent sound quality. When you press any key, the display lights up and the 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0 *# keys glow nicely, not blindingly bright (thank goodness) but not dimly either. Businesses, this phone shows you caller ID information for each caller and stores that information in its caller ID history. I love how you can remove a phone number from your caller ID history by just double tapping the mute button. The process can be very quick (some other phones I've used in the past have required you to tap many different buttons 4-5 times). You also have an option in the caller ID menu to clear all caller ID history if you wish. I've found that this phone usually tracks the second caller's number in your history, so you can usually find the number easily after the current call is over. Adding a number to a stored 50 number phone book is also easy; You can either go to the phone book settings to enter the number and name manually, or you can go to the caller ID history and save a specific number from the history by first pressing 1 to add a prefix 1 (if the number long is distance from you) , then press the menu key on your phone and if you don't want to change anything, press menu again to save the phone number and name in the phone book. I love how your history and catalog are synced across all phones. , and this process happens immediately. This phone only remembers 10 recently dialed numbers, but that seems to be the most of any phone I've tried. This phone has 19 very nice built-in melodies that vary in style and volume. After selecting a ringtone, you can adjust the ringtone volume from level 1 (least) to level 6 (loudest) or turn off the volume. You cannot upload or download new ringtones with this phone. But I really like the built-in melodies; some sound like traditional phone calls, some sound quite melodious, one even sounds a bit mysterious. When you press the buttons, you hear a pleasantly quiet acoustic signal that can be switched on or off. slippery cordless home phones I used. But I would recommend getting non-slip stickers for this phone and using them. This phone is very sleek and its back is rounded. So you definitely need to use non-slip stickers if you don't want it floating on your bedside table when you reach it at 3am. And when you're walking around with your phone on your shoulder, it's even more important not to drop your phone while walking. However, this phone is neither rounder nor slimmer than comparable phones from other major brands that I have ever used. Phone charger into any phone socket, just into the socket. The recent registration of my 4 BRAND NEW phones went very smoothly following the instructions provided and it was a VERY easy process. I de-registered my old phone (it took less than a minute), then re-registered it for a clean start (it took about 1 minute), then I registered the new handsets in about 1 minute per handset, everything went great quickly. Please note that de-registering my old phone did not delete its information. Caller ID, phone book, recent calls, etc. were stored in my old phone and the information was automatically transferred to my new phones after I registered all the phones. If you have a basic AT&T model that includes an answering machine, you can check your messages from the phone menu and perform some other auto-answering functions, although I'm no expert on this, I didn't use my answering machine enough to give you much feedback to How does it work? You can set a speed dial number from 0 to 9 on your phone's keypad. The only downside to this phone/base, in my opinion, is the base itself, which I feel is way too light. Sometimes when I try to put the handset on the base, the base slides a bit and it's annoying. However, thanks to the AMAZING long battery life of these phones, I don't even have to put them down very often, so this is a really moot point for me! So for me this disadvantage is irrelevant! When you place this phone on the charging cradle, a red LED on the top of the phone will glow softly. If you have this phone in the bedroom, you can cover this LED so it doesn't glow while you're trying to sleep. But the red LED is useful so I know the phone is definitely charging, so I like it. Note that phone numbers are removed from caller ID history, redial history, and the phone book. this will sync with all other handsets in your phone system almost instantly. So this system is not a good system IF you want to have phones with handsets that DO NOT SYNC. If you have 5 phones in this system and 5 colleagues or family members are using the phones, they all have to share a 50 entry phone book and if someone deletes a number, it will be deleted for everyone. For some this might be a minus, so I thought it was worth mentioning. Please note that this phone/charger does not work by itself; You have to register it with an AT&T compatible main base; Therefore, please read the description of this product carefully and check the base model of your primary AT&T phone to ensure compatibility. And you might be wondering: if she likes this phone so much, why would she order a new one? Like I said, I'm very clumsy. I have a bad habit of dropping phones in waterlogged dishes, bathtubs and sinks. This phone is not waterproof. But I love it so much I keep switching phones like I'm killing them with water. I hope this review was helpful.
