Review on 🔦 Extech EX330 Mini Multimeter: NCV, Type K Temperature | Orange & Green by Ricky Pee

I do quite a bit of electrical work in my job, so I have experience with electrical equipment. I needed a cheap gauge that I could keep at home that had enough features to cover a wide range of home and car projects. For the small price, it does its job well. Works as advertised and shipping was fast. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars out of 5 is the battery harness which doesn't seem to be holding the batteries as well as one might hope. Shaking the meter (in this case, dropping the meter face up from about a foot or two off the ground) can cause one or more of the batteries to become detached. A quick swipe in the opposite direction is enough to slide the batteries back into place. While not a deal breaker, it can be annoying. The simple solution I've found is to just put a nylon washer or plastic spacer between the battery cover and the batteries. I find it odd that this noticeable and easy to fix issue hasn't been quality checked. It's also worth noting that the wires for this are simple touch sensors. I've seen other similarly priced DMMs that come with interchangeable probes and alligator clips. For some reason I thought this meter would come with both test leads and alligator clips. This is not a meter or seller error, just thought I'd point it out.
