After years of buying poorly designed brand name teapots that fell apart after a few years, I decided to do a little research before buying a new one. After reading hours of reviews and comments, I settled on the Mueller Stainless Steel Whistling Kettle. This kettle ticks all of my boxes: affordable, durable, cooking quality stainless steel, whistling, cool to the touch, stylish and most importantly made in Austria to EU quality standards (and not potentially contaminated by caustic - what standards when made in a country outside becomes USA or EU). The kettle is excellent - it whistles clearly, heats up quickly and looks very stylish (in fact, this is the nicest kettle I've ever had!). I would highly recommend this teapot to any other teapot (and believe me I've tried a few different ones) - it's definitely a winner!
