great for storing embroidery needles
I was looking for something to organize my tapestry needles (I kept losing them) and this works great. I can separate them (e.g. #18 purple, #20 blue, #22 pink, etc.). I can also write on the cap with a marker what size needle is in the tube. It fits perfectly in the plastic organizer where I keep my embroidery floss.
