Review on 💽 WestDigital External Drive 4 - Socket Enclosure by Inyong Dow

I was able to test and use this USB housing over the weekend. So far so good, my nvme drive's read/write speeds are comparable to other external drives in the same price range, around 1000MB/s write and 900MB/s read. The build quality is good and the many ports work well enough. Now two caveats: 1) the orientation of the SD port is reversed, 2) the hub has a relatively high power requirement when the 100W external PD charging port is not connected; So it doesn't work plug and play on my Carbon Lenovo X1 (with over voltage error), but works fine on my 2018 12.9" iPad Pro. If you don't mind the above two issues, I still recommend this hub. b /c build quality and good transfer speed from nvme.
