Original Gates pump? I'm not sure, very disappointed!

Installed with no problems, the pump only ran less than 10,000 miles for three years before the familiar wear of bearings and antifreeze leakage began. So far my story with Gates products has been positive, but now I definitely don't recommend them to anyone! The pump failed at minimal mileage and very little use.
