Not suitable for use in aluminum
They may be suitable for wood and other soft materials, but in aluminum I only have 1 or 2 taps of sizes M3 and M4 respectively. M3 broke on tapping on the second hole, M4 broke on tapping on the third hole. It was aluminum 6061 with a thickness of 2mm. Either go for a better quality tap or do like me and switch back to separate drills and taps.
