ate 06/10/2022 I purchased a pair of 225/45 R17 tires for my KIA Cee'd, and a pair of 215/55 R17 tires for my KIA Soul. Nothing out of the ordinary happened, and I never experienced any discomfort when driving on these tires. Different road surfaces have predictable effects on driver behavior (but you should still use caution on the road because winter is on the way). There is noise, but it's not urgent. All four tires kept their studs throughout the stud season. On the interstate, speeds averaged around 130–140 miles per hour (occasionally reaching upwards of 180), whereas in the city they averaged around 80–100 miles per hour. No hernias, unfortunately, but I can't comment on the sideboard (and it wouldn't be helpful anyhow). An acceptable tire for the price.
