Review on 🔌 Motive Products 1107 Adapter Solution by Bill Dahl

Doesn't fit my 1999 F-150 but it doesn't. 1107 is the correct adapter for Ford 3-lobe master cylinders. If you would like to order this adapter, please first go to the Motive product website and read the FAQ for this product. There is no instruction manual in the box and if you try to use it as it is in the box it will drive you crazy. The kit contains two O-rings, one thick (already on the adapter cover) and one thin in a bag. Replace o-ring and use smaller one. I couldn't even reattach the cap when trying to use a thicker o-ring because the seal doesn't penetrate far enough into the master cylinder neck to properly lock the cap in place. I also use an old master cylinder cover gasket I had, cut out the center and place it on top of the M.Products cover. It easily entered the master cylinder. Align the tabs with the slots on the cover, press down firmly until it stops, and then turn clockwise to lock. I sealed it perfectly. I almost sent this adapter back in frustration. If you are a shop and use one of these all the time, buy an aluminum model. But to be honest the plastic one works great and I will never wear one for home use.
