Smaller than I expected but I think its size helps my daughter maneuver better and she is learning to ride a scooter for the first time. I myself was amazed at the concept of lean and slide my daughter is still learning but she will make it, she is frustrated that she cannot rotate as easily as she hoped but is learning the concept of lean. If you ask her she loves it and loves the color but I'll have to scale up the scooter soon because it's smaller than I expected. Her size at age 4 basically got me used to the tallest height options.
