Review on FML27 65 QuadTube Compact Fluorescent by Marcy Padia

In 2010 we bought a floor lamp with this bulb. The first thing I did on December 14, 2010 was order two replacement lamps so that they are always to hand when needed. The original bulb started flickering slightly in June 2015 (about 5 years later) and I noticed that black was forming around the base of the bulb as most fluorescent bulbs do, so I replaced it with one of the ones I ordered Light bulbs. When I turned on the bulb the bulb was barely lit so I turned it off and then on again and got a huge flash of light and sparks flying out of the bulb's plug and when I pulled the bulb out it was hot. I installed a second bulb and it works perfectly. The first lamp must have been defective. The second lamp I installed got dusty in December 2017, so I'm ordering another one. Two years of use is really exceptional.
