If you have a US delivered 1st generation Focus with a 2.0 liter Zetec DOHC engine and it stalls randomly or has problems with erratic idling when the engine is warming up , then your PCV hose is most likely the problem. The long PCV hose on these engines has been known to collapse under the PCV vacuum as the hose ages and heats up. This kit includes a redesigned hose with an aluminum heat shield to solve this problem. Grab some new hose clamps and find a manual online. Took me about 30 minutes to replace the hose in my garage.
