perfect for 03 Ford Focus 2.0. Insulation is a nice addition. After the replacement, the engine ran like new. When replacing, remember to also replace the PCV valve.

Car would overheat due to a sodden hose or puncture and would not start until cool. Be sure to install good or new hose clamps. Common focus problem.

Suitable for Focus 2001 with Zetek 2.0L DOHC engine. My original rotted and collapsed. Changed the PCV valve with it and wow! Doesn't matter! To make installation easier I had to heat the end that goes over the air intake and it slid right into place.

High quality hoses, better than OEM. The original (Ford) hose on the side of the PCV valve will become so stiff that you will probably have to cut it into pieces. The stock rear hose also doesn't have a heat shield like this one. Great job Dorman!

Perfect for a burst hose with a common problem. The hardest part was removing the old hose from the intake manifold. The clamp around the old hose is difficult to reach. I ended up using brute force and pulling the hose without removing the clamp.

There was a common problem with the hose narrowing and eventually the valve cover leaking. Mine had 180,000 km but was probably broken longer. I recommend looking for a video on YouTube on how to open the clamp on the old one. This dorman comes with a heat pack and the tube is much stronger.

If you have a US delivered 1st generation Focus with a 2.0 liter Zetec DOHC engine and it stalls randomly or has problems with erratic idling when the engine is warming up , then your PCV hose is most likely the problem. The long PCV hose on these engines has been known to collapse under the PCV vacuum as the hose ages and heats up. This kit includes a redesigned hose with an aluminum heat shield to solve this problem. Grab some new hose clamps and find a manual online. Took me about 30 minutes
