I would give this product 5 stars but the lock is a bit stiff and is stuck on something inside. I'm a little apprehensive about locking my bike with this and preventing it from coming loose. The dust cover is really hard to turn and I lubricated it fully with dry grease (after realizing it was stiff and sanded). Although the castle appears very strong. Only time will tell if the locking mechanism doesn't engage. The seller says they have a multi year promise on this item so if that fails I will contact them. until then I will keep using it. I love how sturdy it is and the cable length is perfect for attaching my 24" bike to the front wheel. I read a lot of good reviews about it and I have a friend with the same lock so I bought it. His lock doesn't squeak like mine does when I use the key. I know a bit about locks, I suspect the pin holding the cylinder is not seated properly or is too long. I have a feeling this is the reason to catch it. As I said, I even lubricated it with dry lube and it still starts. If it lasts a year I will come back and upgrade to 5 stars or if it doesn't work and they replace it for free as they claim. All in all a good lock so far, as I said very strong on the U shackle and a good 3ft cable. Oh and the lighted key is great for the night, I use it when I unlock my truck and also at night.
