I was a bit disappointed at first - after 4 months of daily use the lock function got stuck and prevented me from unlocking my bike for a day. However when they contacted Via Velo they promptly sent me a new lock free of charge which was much appreciated. Overall, I am satisfied with this product and appreciate the attentive customer service. I'm so glad I bought this lock for one of my bikes. I can't believe the quality and thickness of this lock, you could easily pay double the price for a lock of this quality. It's easy to use and comes with a cool mount that fits my frame well. Lid to prevent dirt or particles from getting stuck. It comes with 2 keys and an additional third key that actually has a tiny light attached so I can lock and open it at night. The U-lock is 11.5 inches long, but not too long to get in the way. The lock is definitely strong. Runs smooth and I like the three buttons. I have a fat RAD Rover tire with fenders. This lock prevents you from running a "U" through the back rail and attaching it to a pole. It has more to do with the huge tires and fenders. I would give this product 5 stars but the lock is a bit stiff and is stuck on something inside. I'm a little apprehensive about locking my bike with this and preventing it from coming loose. The dust cover is really hard to turn and I lubricated it fully with dry grease (after realizing it was stiff and sanded). Although the castle appears very strong. Only time will tell if the locking mechanism doesn't engage. The seller says they have a multi year promise on this item so if that fails I will
