The thing is a tank. However, it is not invincible and should be considered as anti-theft rather than anti-theft. The general build quality is excellent. In my opinion it is almost identical to the more expensive Kryptonite branded locks. While I'm happy with the product, there are a few things that could be improved. I think the cable is short. Its length is just under 48 inches. While it may be long enough to mount a front wheel, you won't have enough room for anything else. I use it a lot more because that extra 2 feet makes a huge difference. Second, I'm a little annoyed that the shutter isn't spring-loaded. In other words, you need a key to open a traditional padlock, but you can close it simply by pressing it. Not so with this product, you need a key to lock and unlock. It doesn't matter, it can just be awkward if you literally hold the barrel with the key to close it (because the other hand is holding the "U").
