Review on ๐ŸŒก๏ธ KSGER Temperature Controller: Enhance Precision and Efficiency in Electronic Equipments by Drew Panah

Very stable temperature during use, quick warm-up. Save the calibration for different tips separately.

Quality construction. Very impressive. The temperature is very stable during use. I like the ability to save calibration for different types of implements. Everything is configurable, even the temperature of the cold end (end of grip) can be calibrated. Comes with three tips, T12-K blade for large connections (guitar cables, soldering in tube gear), T12-D16 blade 1.6mm wide. A screwdriver tip that's great for through-soldering and most surface mount work, and the T12-JL02, a thin, curved tip that's great for light-duty surface soldering. I really like the T12 tips as they have a built in heating element and temperature sensor. means a firm grip at the top. Heat dissipates so well from the handle that I can replace the hot tip by grabbing the base and pulling it out with my bare fingers. They also warm up to operating temperature very quickly, on the order of 15 seconds. FYI: New tips should be fired at 300ยบC for approximately one hour. Otherwise you will get false errors at higher temperatures. I will be buying more for classroom use.

Pros
  • Welding and soldering
Cons
  • Large and bulky
