This is my new favorite suspension tool. What am I using it for? 2.5" coilovers on a Toyota 4Runner. If, like me, you have an obsessive-compulsive disorder with suspension, ride height, and comfort, you should pick this guy up. Before I had this tool, I spent 3 hours installing coilovers from an adjustment truck. Not anymore. Because this compressor is so compact I can now make adjustments ON THE TRUCK. So. Park it. Attach the spring compressor to the coils while the truck is under its own weight. After Once you have the compressor connected to the coils and secured, pick up the truck.Since the spring compresses under the weight of your vehicle, you can speed the process and extend the life of the tool by connecting the compressor before jacking it up went up, i found i could turn the adjustment ring with little effort without increasing the compression of the supercharger.before i adjusted the ring If I always flush it with a good lube (LPS1 or Superlube) to make things easier to move I got this tool, I coated all the threads with high pressure grease just to prolong the life of the tool. A good wheel bearing or suspension lubricant is also suitable. I also used this to replace the rear spool. (Small note: I use this to adjust OME BP-51 coilovers / 2.5" diameter). All in all, this is a quality, well-made tool that gets the job done!
