I measured my dog and ordered a medium based on the recommendations. The jacket is nice. Very High Quality and seems warm. The problem is it was a little too big and touched him where he pees. So this would be too long for us. He has an 11in neck amd 18 inch chest. 12 pound dog. I am now ordering a small instead.On a side note I did buy it in black woth purple "used- good condition" to save nearly $20. The description only said item will come repackaged. It was covered inside with dog hair which i removed. And 3 small fluid marks where a dog would pee. I am returning it due to size & still taking a chance to order it used with the same description in red size small. Will update once it arrives.I would currently recommend this jacket for Chicago winters but suggest buying it 1 size smaller due to length.
