Very easy to install, align, cut hoses and bleed. The handle/reservoir is SUPER fragile - use caution when cutting and attempting to reset the anchor nut as it is very difficult to line up and tighten. I was sure mine was ripped off by the time it finally came in. I'm nervous about pens. It's very easy to spill blood - just squeeze some blood out of the grip (and onto all the bars :(. and you're done). Much easier than Sram or Shimano. Make sure you have a set of torx bits and have a torque wrench as magura uses torx everywhere and the resin reservoir cups are very easy to snap in. single pull rim brake they don't lock my rear wheel on the pavement overall, especially for the price, I'm very happy with them.I wouldn't use it for downhill racing but fantastic for trail riding.
