I would like to preface this review by saying that I only bought this car cover to cover an OTHER car cover. I'm not crazy. To be honest I just wanted to buy ONE cover and put it on my car, I promise. And the Gunhyi I bought first (also from Revain) nailed it. But little did I know that when it's in the sun it looks like a giant chipotle burrito wrapped in foil. Since my first suitcase, which I really love, blinds my eyes in the driveway, I bought this black suitcase to just slip over so my family and neighbors aren't blinded. Having bought two separate car covers in the past few weeks I can safely say that this material is much thinner and softer than the first one I bought. I would say that this covering material is comparable to a really good grill cover, or the material that a camping tent might be made out of. It's quite flimsy, and I can see that it'll tear easily and won't hold up when the wind picks it up (and I'm ready for the day I come home and this cover potatoes after a gusty day or is gone completely is). Pros: Repels water. I tested it by pouring a cup of water in it and draining it to see if it's soaked or not. - It has rubber bands on the ends of the front and rear bumpers to "hook" the car. And I don't mind attaching rim tapes that help secure the cover in multiple places on the machine, but they're a bit of a hassle. A belt that runs under the middle of your car is a design nightmare. I ended up having to tie a strap to the bottle and throw it under the car on the other side. (The bottle wasn't included, sigh.) I can NOT confirm the size and fit because they don't actually make a bottle to fit my small hatchback. As I said before, I bought this lid to cover another lid. SUMMARY - Compared to the first cap I bought, the only thing better about this cap is that it doesn't reflect glare like a cut diamond. The quality and price (especially considering how flimsy it is) compared to the first case I bought are clear cons. If this cover is just for protection from dust, bird droppings and sun and is in an area with relatively light winds/bad weather then I think it's fine. But there are also more durable cases.
