Review on πŸ“Έ Datacolor SpyderX Pro SXP100 – Advanced Monitor Calibration for Professional Photographers and Designers by Robby Fingaw

Revainrating 4 out of 5

As a photographer, this is what most people call a must and I'm still nervous.

Well, as a photographer, most people call this a must, and I'm still nervous. I am a Macbook user and have an extra monitor that I use with my Macbook. I saw this on the internet. I was convinced I needed it to improve the quality of my photos when they came out of the computer, but there's more to think about.1. I've never had a color problem from the monitor to the print. Even now, after ridding my computer of all sets, I still have no problems. The colors on the monitor are still very accurate, so I still get what I think I'm getting as an output. 2. If you want to publish online, and that's it, there's really no need for it. Sure, the colors are perfect on your computer, but check them out on your phone or your friend's, they're different. That way you get them right and then still look different on other items. The good thing is that it creates consistency across my two monitors and matches the color profile directly in my chosen MacBook and I've had no issues with it. It's very easy to use and the program does everything for you, well, which is what I did. Well honestly returned. Not because there's anything wrong with it, because for $160 I couldn't justify it. As I said, I haven't had any issues with color accuracy from monitor to printer, so it really wasn't necessary.
