Firstly I was very happy with my Thermopro TP 20 and wanted to upgrade it to have 4 probes instead of 2 and additional cooking information via the app. The device is well built and packed with features. Also reasonably priced considering what it needs to do. However, it has a fatal flaw. The app keeps crashing. Because it relies on the app and Bluetooth and doesn't have a dedicated receiver, it's useless if the app isn't working properly. I bit the bullet and bought a Maverick XR 50 (more money) which gives me the 4 sensors I wanted, a dedicated receiver and can't rely on erratic applications. I can not recommend TP 25.
