Made here which is a plus. Unfortunately, the word kit means it comes with more than just a filter. There is no gasket included. Bought for my 03 Taurus and had to pay extra for a Wix filter that came with a gasket. Needless to say, Wix was made in China, so I just used a Motorcraft filter and a Wix spacer. I don't mind paying extra money for our great products as long as the information is clear. One star deducted for that alone. It doesn't matter if you have an AX4N or an F50 as both require spacers. The filter is the same, only the gasket is different, so make sure you know your gearbox type.
