This circuit breaker works as it should. The handle fits comfortably in the palm of your hand and allows you to hold the tool securely as you move to the torque section by pushing in or out on the chain pins. This is black painted steel so I'm assuming it's not chrome moly tool steel. So if I were a mechanic at a bike shop and I broke the chain every day, maybe it wouldn't last. However, this is only a guess. I was able to break down and install my 10 speed Ultegra chain and since I only do this 1-2 times a year I think it will work fine. I know that at $6.99 this is a fantastic price compared to other chain cutters that cost 2, 3 and 8 times the price!
