Not the highest quality kit but for the price I can throw it away after each use. I would spend a little more and buy a better one (ParkTools). If you repair a lot of bikes, you'll spend more. If you need it once, that's fine.

Fine. great for removing the stylus, but the latches and support areas are insufficient to push the stylus back in. The carving is also sloppy. If you are looking for a cheap chain removal tool, this is it. If you want to use a tool over and over again, look elsewhere!

We had to buy this twice. the first time a cutting pin was missing inside (poor quality control?) and the second time it broke after the first use. It's cheap but doesn't even get the job done. We ended up going to a bike shop to have it cut.

First, the pin on the tool is NOT centered on the chain pin. Second, the grip on the tool does not provide the mechanical advantage needed to easily extrude the pencil. The third and last was the pin at the bend of the instrument. Made it really useless. All in all not a good buy. Mostly because of wasted time and frustration.

This will probably work well for a multi-speed or 3/32" chain (hence 1 star instead of 2), but do you have a 1/8" wide chain? Don't expect much. The pin is too long, the gap you put the chain in is too short, and the threads snapped trying to get them to break through the BMX half link's sticky pin.

As others have said, easy to pull out the links but harder to put back in. Go slowly and carefully, making sure to keep the chain in place. Good quality but again not the best circuit breaker. I will recommend this article to those who don't use a circuit breaker very often.

This circuit breaker works as it should. The handle fits comfortably in the palm of your hand and allows you to hold the tool securely as you move to the torque section by pushing in or out on the chain pins. This is black painted steel so I'm assuming it's not chrome moly tool steel. So if I were a mechanic at a bike shop and I broke the chain every day, maybe it wouldn't last.
