I've had good results with other Adidas Boost shoes in the past, so I ordered these shoes through the Prime Wardrobe option to use in my workouts, including treadmill running. I wear a size 9 regular width shoe, so like any other running shoe, I went for a size 9.5. These shoes have a stylish look (understated by the light gray hoops, which oddly resemble repairing shoelaces with duct tape) but were a total disappointment straight out of the box: (1) The sock box was very thin. Contrary to the 6th picture at the top of this webpage which shows the profile of the shoe (probably with some sort of molded pad inside), the profile of the shoe I received was progressively thinner from the laces to the toe. This caused the outlines of the fingers, especially the thumb, to show through the fabric. Also, it didn't take long before the toes felt uncomfortable due to fabric pressure, even when tested with very thin (non-walking) socks. Feeling of support in the heel or around the ankle. It's an awful combination of conflicting foot prints in running shoes. (3) I didn't test them on the go (so as not to damage the sole during testing) but even wearing the shoes for a relatively short amount of time on a wooden floor my feet were hot - these shoes generally don't breathe well. They were brought back to Revane.
