Review on WildHorn Outfitters Seaview 180° Snorkel by Tim Larsen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I tried it, liked it, but.

I liked that about his mask. First, it NEVER fogs up. Since the breathing part covers the mouth and nose, the mask never fogs up. Second, you get a huge field of view. It was so easy to see on my peripheral that I didn't miss any sea turtles or rays. I caught a glimpse of her out of the corner of my eye and decided to check. It was wonderful! I have a short beard and so far have had no trouble sealing the mask. I used my traditional mask for comparison and had a slow leak through my nose which was annoying. I had the first version of the Seaview with the snorkel on top and love the new design. I feel like I haven't come across a snorkel underwater that often, maybe I just swim like that. There were a few things I didn't like. Because this is a full face mask, I couldn't put pressure on my ears while deep diving (no way of clogging my nose). Another case: when I dove deeper to check some shells on the bottom, you have a lot of pressure all over your face. I got used to that pressure and being able to dive with the turtles and swim deep and just explore the fish hiding under the coral, I just didn't like that part. Overall, I still give the mask 5 stars. Breathing was so easy, the view was great, it never fogged up, the GoPro mounting point was amazing, captured right where I was looking. Not perfect, but the best mask I've ever used.
