Description of WildHorn Outfitters Seaview 180° Snorkel

FLOWTECH ADVANCED AIR INTAKE SYSTEM- Breathe naturally and comfortably through your nose and mouth. Flowtech has two chambers and 4 intake valves to allow air to circulate in and out freely. Using one-way valves and a separate breathing chamber ensures fresh air is always circulating through the mask. Flowtech provides 50 percent easier work of breathing compared to other full face snorkeling masks on the market. This combined with safe levels of CO2 make this the best full face snorkel mask. DESIGNED AND TESTED IN THE USA - The Seaview 180° V2 snorkeling mask was created by our team of experienced product designers and engineers. Through meticulous iteration we improved the airflow, visibility, fit, camera mount and safety of the full face snorkeling mask experience. The Seaview V2 launched on Kickstarter in 2018 and was backed by thousands of people. We used 3rd party experts to measure the airflow and CO2 elements of the mask to ensure a safe user experience for all. IMPORTANT SIZING TIPS- Full face snorkel mask adult sizing is important to get right. Be sure to measure from the bridge of your nose (between your eyes) to the tip of your chin. Measure along the side of your nose, not over the top. Follow the sizing chart. If you are in between sizes, it's usually best to select the smaller size. For the best seal, you may need to tweak the placement of the mask on your face until you have the most comfortable fit. Be sure to test in a pool before your trip. ENHANCED FEATURES- The patent pending angled tube design allows for less restricted, two-way airflow. The angled snorkel tube stays above water more easily and gives your head more freedom of movement. The viewing area is 20 percent larger to give you more visibility. The camera mount now swivels and is located near the chin to stay under water more easily. The ergonomics and fit are much improved. Lastly, the additional one-way valves and separate breathing chamber help to reduce fogging. PROPER USE- Full face snorkel masks are designed for leisure surface snorkeling. Serious freediving is not recommended because you cannot equalize. Strenuous swimming while wearing any type of snorkel, including full face designs, is not recommended. A strenuous swim requires friction-less breathing. Be sure to take regular breaks while snorkeling. Also follow the buddy rule: never snorkel alone. Become familiar with your gear before you go. Try it in a pool and make sure it fits and seals.

Be careful with this mask. Make sure you test it before you start 4WD.

I don't know if it was just my mask or a design flaw, but I wouldn't recommend this mask. It fits well and doesn't let water through. For that I gave her two stars. However, this did not work with the exhalation system. It is designed to close the valves and prevent your exhalation from entering the mask area, instead pushing the CO2 out of the snorkel. However, it didn't close immediately, and most of my exhalation fell into the area of the mask - in fact, I felt a breeze in my eyes. I soon…

There was not enough air

It is very sad to realize that "this product does not suit me". I love diving and have been to Belize, Costa Rica, Hawaii and Honduras. On a trip to Mexico I was so excited that I tried a full face snorkel mask for the first time. The concept seems awesome, but it didn't work for me. My mask fogged up despite the usual saliva method. But you could overlook that, because the company recommends an anti-fog spray. What didn't work for me was the lack of oxygen. The manufacturer says it's not for…

My favorite mask at the moment

Comfort against leakage was the first point for me. Other masks I've used create some pressure points to avoid leaks that end up causing headaches. It has a rubber lining that is very comfortable and does not allow leakage. The next point is that I hate getting salt water in my mouth or a build up of salt water interfering with my breathing and making a gurgling sound. The same rubber lining that makes the mask comfortable also creates a reservoir for water to enter through the snorkel. There…

Comfortable full face mask for snorkeling!

Loved this snorkel mask. I'm not a regular snorkeler and this is the first mask I've bought so wasn't quite sure what to expect but it really is a whole new world underneath, especially as it's a full face mask - the visibility and clarity It's amazing. Tested for about 30 minutes with no problems. Highly recommended! It was surprisingly comfortable to the point that I was a little concerned it wouldn't close well, and I wondered if I was just flat-faced. But it was, and the stripes were really

I tried it, liked it, but.

I liked that about his mask. First, it NEVER fogs up. Since the breathing part covers the mouth and nose, the mask never fogs up. Second, you get a huge field of view. It was so easy to see on my peripheral that I didn't miss any sea turtles or rays. I caught a glimpse of her out of the corner of my eye and decided to check. It was wonderful! I have a short beard and so far have had no trouble sealing the mask. I used my traditional mask for comparison and had a slow leak through my nose which…

great upgrades to an already great product

I love snorkeling on vacation as I don't have a license (or inclination) to dive, but I usually get headaches after long underwater expeditions because I have an inclination to gripping the mouthpiece too tightly with your teeth. I'm a good swimmer but snorkeling and being in the sea scares me a little and it requires a lot of traditional snorkeling. I'm not sure if it's fear or just nervousness that it will fall out, but I've squeezed/bitten the mouthpieces of other traditional whistles…

Solves my biggest snorkeling problem

This is the second wild horn mask I've bought. While I loved the first one the design of this one is even better and made diving so much fun! I really had no complaints and couldn't tell you anything I didn't like about this product. My main problems with snorkeling in general are water getting into the snorkel and choking, afterwards my teeth and jaw feel weird, the mask fogs up and I have to twist the mask so hard to avoid leaking that I'm red get spots on your face. within a few hours after…
