Purchased December 17, 2021- Less than 1 Year, within first 3 months of hair usage dissatisfaction began: If you are in need of a REAL BOAR BRUSH for your hair. Do not purchase. After reading all the great reviews, kick myself after receiving $16.95 brush in a gorgeous bag and box decor with an APP to Scan, plus their history of saving a TREE! Really.WARNING PRINTED: Advise not to put wooden handle into water (1st sign). USAGE PROBLEMS: Brush was not used daily/weekly because I wanted to extend the LIFE of the BRUSH, UNTIL I FOUND A REAL BOAR BRUSH 100% BOAR without the extra 95% decorations! I always use my comb to clean my brush (not with this one, the pricks started popping out, 1 by 1, nevertheless, I got it done, carefully) and to WASH the BRUSH, must wait for base material to dry, and YES the BRUSH was SUBMERGED IN WATER with Ivory Liquid to CLEAN (NewsFlash, the beautiful polished Wood Handle is unharmed). The BOAR BRISTLES are LESS THAN ONE-INCH. However, it is a Brush of some sort, I made use of it., and detangled my hair. Nothing extraordinary.
