This cannot be attributed to the disadvantages for this type of disk, but it is quite noisy under load, and in general, during the idle period, they periodically tap when parking the heads, given that it is in a mirror raid, the noise comes from several hdds at once and this is not a very quiet option ( I didn’t measure it exactly, but I think it’s definitely there for about 30 dB), that is, the sound is very noticeable, sleeping in the same room with such a nas in the same room is problematic, and with a light sleep it’s impossible. The speed of work is a definite plus, which can be realized in modern home local networks (the standard speed of which is 1Gb) only by aggregating network interfaces (combining several into one). I think it's worth my money.
