Poor Quality Aftermarket Lock Drive - Be Careful! Read before you buy

This lock actuator is a costly disappointment for a number of reasons. First, it didn't fit right. The holes matched enough to mount it on the barrel but didn't allow enough adjustment to snap the barrel without pulling it to the left. To fix this I had to re-drill one of the mounting holes to a larger diameter. Second, the cable for the key was ripped out of the box so I had to remove the cable from my old actuator and swap it out for the one that came with the Dorman actuator. I was expecting that by paying 65.00 for this part I would be able to use everything that comes with it. Finally, annoyingly, the box containing the part fell apart when I opened it. This only indicates a lack of quality control to the last. I ended up making the part work for me but I had to get it working which added even more frustration to the already bad situation I was in with the broken lock actuator. I feel like a partial refund is fine, but I'm pretty sure I'll never see it. As the title suggests, buyers beware.
