Review on ASUS VY279HE Adaptive Sync Augmentation Antibacterial 1920X1080P: Experience Enhanced Eye Care and Visual Quality with HDMI, Blue Light Filter, and HD LED by Simo Ramsey

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Manual calibration is required but worth it.

Disadvantages: 1. When delivered, the monitor calibration was too bright.2. By default, the text on the monitor screen was jagged and overly clear.3. The power LED in the bottom right corner of the monitor is white and can be a bit distracting in a dark room. Pros: 1. Pretty cheap for a 27 inch 1080P monitor. 2. The monitor stand is adjustable. 3. The entrances correspond to modern technology, e.g. B. the display port. Cons With overly harsh and jagged text on the screen, I was almost ready to return the monitor as it was just too distracting, but after manually adjusting the settings I was able to drastically change the screen to be nice and soothing. Here are the settings I ended up with: Splendid Mode: Standard Mode Blue Light Filter: Level 0 Color: - Brightness 22, - Contrast 90, - Color Mode: Custom > R, G and B at 100 Image: Bright Pixel at 0 (change to zero is key to final calibration) I use this monitor as a secondary monitor where my main monitor is ASUS VG278HE 27 inch Full HD 1920 x 1080 144Hz 2ms HDMI DVI-D VGA LED Backlit Ergonomic Gaming Monitor, which is a significantly better model than this ASUS VN279QL 27".
