Review on ๐Ÿšด Stay Dry and Connected: Saris Bike Guard Sweat Protector with Phone Holder for Indoor Bike Trainers by Carl Morgan

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The cut isn't great but the pockets are a nice addition.

I bought these bike straps mainly because of the front pockets. While I'm glad I went with the Cycleops (because of the pockets), the fit isn't great. The straps don't really hold the thong in place if it's just wrapped around the middle of the bars. I end up threading the straps up to the front of the bull horns, under the levers and then back to the bottom of the strap where they attach with Velcro at the back. (see photo). This is the only way I can see that the string remains stretched into a triangle. It's not that perfect in certain hand positions, but it works for me. The pockets are great for my TV remote. I also usually put my phone on the triangular part for working with email and messages. It probably wouldn't have held my phone if I hadn't relocated the straps as I did to keep it taut.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Useless features
