The item delivered was different than what is shown in the listing

I received a different model than the one I ordered. The one I ordered had two front pockets for a remote control or phone. The one I received did not have this but instead had a clear PVC pouch. The PVC pocket covers most of the sweat-wicking material, which isn't great as sweat just drips off the PVC onto my bike or floor.

Not as pictured as of 11/26/18

The product itself is good but not as pictured. The one I received had a clear plastic phone protector over the handlebars. The problem is that the protector is exactly where most of the sweat drains away. The good news is that you can easily remove it with a seam ripper or a sharp blade. The picture shows the protector in place but after I have removed it. What would make it more useful is that the shield is Velcro attached around the entire item instead of being sewn on.

Great bike protector

Very easy to use. I just wrap the velcro straps around the handlebars twice or they hang down and I hit them with my knees. This will trap all the sweat on the frame and handlebars. However, it is recommended to use a towel to keep the handlebars dry where you hold your hands. I don't use a plastic case at all because you can't use your phone through it and it hurts to get in and out of it when trying to keep a steady pace on the bike, but I put my phone on top and it stays on. Spring.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • So far so good

Product not as shown (discontinued item?)

Either the product is different than described and shown here or another product was sent. I have the Cyclops sweatguard (it has a clear plastic pocket over the Y with velcro on the front - I can't access the phone/remote easily, sweat just splatters on the plastic. The pocket is too far back unless , you drive looking between your knees, sweat drips and dries on the clear plastic so forget to use/look at your phone while it's there.

Pros
  • Mobile phone item
Cons
  • Safety

Bad design - unfortunately bad product overall.

This is not a very functional sweat. I'm not sure who designed this, but they shouldn't be treadmilling much. The main reason for this is sweat protection when cycling. The cover has a rather abrasive velcro on the underside that rubs on the legs when getting out of the saddle and even during normal riding. Not to mention that Saris is a reputable brand that usually makes good products. And everyone fails from time to time.

Disappointed to open my package today and receive something else.

Disappointed that I opened the package today and received something different than what was advertised. There is protection but only for a small part of the top tube, the rest is covered in plastic, yes this is a pocket but you can't get in that easily because you have to remove the velcro underneath. this is a try but i read someone's review from yesterday; as I was looking at my order again because I remember a different product than what I received. You will most likely need to remove it toโ€ฆ

The cut isn't great but the pockets are a nice addition.

I bought these bike straps mainly because of the front pockets. While I'm glad I went with the Cycleops (because of the pockets), the fit isn't great. The straps don't really hold the thong in place if it's just wrapped around the middle of the bars. I end up threading the straps up to the front of the bull horns, under the levers and then back to the bottom of the strap where they attach with Velcro at the back. (see photo). This is the only way I can see that the string remains stretched into

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Useless features
