I bought this together with Chamberlain MyQ Gateway (Chamberlain CIGBU MYQ Internet Gateway). This product, along with the Chamberlain MyQ Light Switches (Chamberlain WSLCEV Remote Control Light Switch), has revolutionized my home. This item was very easy to install and actually took longer to get out of its anti-theft packaging than it did to plug in and install. to work with the gateway. With the Chamberlain MyQ app I can set up rules per device to be notified when I leave the lights on. In addition, I can control the lighting from anywhere. If I forget if I turned off the light, the app will tell me if it's on. Each controller comes with a small remote control that allows you to easily turn on each light without having to use an app to control the light. Unfortunately there is no timer function for these controllers, which is very disappointing and the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
