I bought this doorstop for a solid wood office door. This doorstop is heavy and well made. Vintage paint is very pleasing to the eye and looks a lot more expensive than it actually is. I love how it feels underneath, but my office is carpeted and the door doesn't move at all with the doorstop in place. When my colleagues need to enter my office and my door stops halfway and the door closes, I have to get up and move them before they can fully open the door to enter my office because the door doesn't move at all when the There is space in the stopper. However, this just goes to show how well the doorstop works. If you are looking for a stopper to hold the door open due to wind or a strong spring system, this is definitely the way to go. I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a stopper that can move with the door when you open it, but it's up to you. Overall this is a great doorstop that is highly functional and can help brighten up any room.
