Biscuit slot is too wide.

The slot that it cuts for the Biscuit is too wide and when you insert the Biscuit, it is a sloppy fit. You should have to gently tap a Biscuit in to the slot/it should be a friction fit. Not with this one. It flops around and can fall out. Not the snug fit I was expecting. If you soak it with glue, it will expand - but that's not how it's supposed to be when it comes to this assisting with alignment. The cutting blade simply makes the slot too wide. Depth of cut is fine. Ease of use is fine. The machine itself is fine. it's just the kerf of the blade/cut width that is the problem. The manufacturer should have put a blade on this machine that better matched the width of the supplied Biscuits.

Pros
  • Can be used for a variety of woodworking applications, including cabinet making, furniture building, and more
Cons
  • The tool does not have an efficient dust collection system
