I bought this for joining some sheets of 1/2” plywood subfloor and it worked great! Yes, it’s a cheap tool and the bearings rattle and the dust collector clogged up after about 10 cuts. But for the price, you can’t beat it. For tools that I will use a lot, I buy the best possible and I’ve never regretted it. But for one time uses, I try to get by with the cheapest. This did the trick and it was so easy to use that I’m probably going to find a project to use it for again!

For to money this is a great little biscuit joiner. Ever thing is in adjustment and needed no changes or tweaking. 99% of the time I don't use the fence since I mostly use 3/4" material and reference off a flat piece of mdf as a base. Changing biscuit sizes is easy and clearly marked. Access to the blade is easy if you need to do so. Plastic case is just that. For me just another one to toss into my attic storage.

Five stars for price! The gate seems flimsy but didn’t budge while I was using it. The biggest thing is that the biscuit hole isn’t even close to be parallel to the edge of the board. It doesn’t effect the end result I that might turn off some people. I highly recommend.

Not sure how well this tool would hold up if it was put into continuous use, but for the occasional biscuit joiner job it's more than adequate. Biggest drawback is that it's made in China.

It came in a long box so I’m guessing it slid back and forth and the case is made of plastic so it was cracked and one latch was broken. But the tool itself was good and was pleased with it!

Make a test cut! I just ruined an expensive piece of wood because I set the depth gauge which is inaccurate. Guess I’m painting the piece instead. $80 tool ruined a $150 piece of wood….

Joiner is just want I needed. I joined two (2) maple planks 2" thick together so this worked to perfection to cut biscuit slots. Really surprised at the quality for the pricing. One of those tools you may not use often but it is a must when you need it.

I had to join two pieces of finish wood and I needed one. Might never need it again so I didn’t want to spend hundreds of dollars. Worked great, not as accurate accurate as a more expensive model but definitely worth the money

I have been wanting one of these for a long time but didn’t want to spend a lot of money. This is a great option to learn on and decide if this is even something I will use. I am not experienced at all and just like to try new things.

The slot that it cuts for the Biscuit is too wide and when you insert the Biscuit, it is a sloppy fit. You should have to gently tap a Biscuit in to the slot/it should be a friction fit. Not with this one. It flops around and can fall out. Not the snug fit I was expecting. If you soak it with glue, it will expand - but that's not how it's supposed to be when it comes to this assisting with alignment. The cutting blade simply makes the slot too wide. Depth of cut is fine. Ease of use is fine…

I’ve never had a joiner before and this is certainly easy to use. From the get go however I was having problems with the biscuit slot not being parallel. I tried to be very careful when I held it in place but finally came to the conclusion it’s the cutter and not me. Called customer service and explained my problem and I’m getting a replacement. Let’s hope it cuts better 👍 cause I really do like the unit.

Nicely packed in its own case (so nice to see, not too much to ask for in my opinion for a tool this size) and came with biscuits.I watched a couple videos on YouTube and tried it out. Next time I would spend more money, I don’t like how sloppy the track is when it slides forward.it doesn’t alway a-line , and I’m not running the wood back through a planet so I’m going to have to do some sanding. I would like to see the mechanism be tighter. The problem is the upgrade is another $100 ☹️

I attempted to use this to set some butcher block countertop and the biscuits were didn’t fit in there slots even though everything was sat up correctly

It's fine for the occasional use of any weekend woodworker. This seemed to be the lowest price biscuit joiner with a hard case. The depth (biscuit size) adjustment is loose and spins when you're not expecting. The motor has a loud bearing noise. Considering I use this once or twice a year, it should (I hope) be ok for the foreseeable future.

The jointer is fine but the blade cuts way too thick of a slot. The biscuit has way too much play up and down. I use jigs and clamps. The blade is width is right so it must be the bearings/shaft.

Well made, very accurate, easy to use. Used to reglue a dining room table that dried out and basically fell apart over the years.👍
