I became a little suspicious after using the unit for a week without warning (detected as rotten egg smell and burning smell) in my Ford Explorer (with known carbon monoxide leaks). Out of curiosity, I decided to "test" the device by connecting it to an extension cord and taking it outside so it could be placed next to my car's exhaust pipe. Credit here with the block directly opposite the end of the tailpipe (vehicle is obviously running), he didn't warn. general. There will never be any circumstances where the device will be exposed to MORE carbon monoxide. and he failed to warn. This block will kill you, don't trust it and if you decide to buy it. CHECK THIS.
