Review on 🐱 Dimaka 29" Tall Cat Scratching Post: Perfect for Big Cats, with Natural Sisal Rope Post and Sturdy Carpet Base - Ideal Adult Cat Scratcher and Tree by Jaclyn King

It's next to garbage.

two cardboard tubes wrapped with sisal rope and fastened with clips. First I hammered in the clips so the crampons wouldn't get caught on them. I'll see how well it holds together for sure. The second issue is attaching the bar to the base. The supplied screw is really just a pan head screw with a thick washer, not long enough to easily penetrate the base and the threads recessed in the cardboard tube mentioned above. You'll sweat trying to squeeze the components together tight enough to catch the thread. I was tempted to put everything back in the box and give it back. You get what you pay for and we all know that and sometimes forget it. Nevertheless, I can recommend the following: SmartCat Pioneer Pet Ultimate scratching post from SmartCat. I had three of these. Two went to family members and the last one bought in July 2016 is still caring for two very large cats. Unfortunately, it cost $36 back then, and now it's selling for $50. However, you get what you pay for, right? I would add that cats know what to do with it. It was difficult to put together and they will use it up fairly quickly, but so far the three cats are happy with their new scratching post. If you give them enough things that are theirs, they probably won't care about what's yours. The claw tip has been in use for about a month now. Two cats use it well. The third stubbornly insists on using the rug, even though the others show it every day. These are big cats. The column is high and held together. Collecting was almost impossible.
