It does the job though.

This is an alarm that goes off when the temperature in your fridge freezer (choose one) exceeds the set temperature (set by the manufacturer). He's good at it and that's his job after all. However, there are issues I can live with, but they probably need to be adjusted by the manufacturer.1. Temperature readings are difficult to see without a flashlight. As I have a small flashlight with me this isn't a problem for me, but my wife doesn't have such a flashlight with her and she doesn't hang on her cell phone (which also has a flashlight) everywhere. A backlight to read the temperature would therefore be useful.2. The suction cup for the temperature sensor does not stick to the fridge/freezer wall for very long. It becomes hard, less flexible and falls off. HOWEVER, I was able to squeeze the suction cup between the metal rails of the freezer shelf and lock it in place. It would be helpful if some sort of clip was included to make this job easier. I suppose I could have attached the suction cup sensor to the wall of the freezer, but it's only just occurred to me now. I know duct tape can last a long time in the freezer. The sensor cable really needs to be longer. This allows you to better position the readings.4. Installing the meter was tedious. I can't remember if double-sided tape was included with my purchase, but I definitely needed something similar, or at least more than a piece of tape. I've moved the readings several times to see which position is best. I suggest the customer purchase double sided tape or velcro or even the tape my wife uses to hold her paintings flat against the wall. That's all. Overall, I'm glad I bought this alarm clock, but it could have been better.
